Official regulations — Version 1.9 · Bariboshi style
Zabbadat is a movement toward better health through coordination, breathing, and meditation. The Game of Washers turns steps into a contest. Sign in so your name stays the same on every device.
Learned coordination, breath, and attention — a game that makes being active the point.
Patterns that organize the body so movement costs less effort.
Settle the nervous system before you throw and after you walk.
Washers is built so chasing 21 also gets you moving.
Sitkari through the inhale, box counts on all four sides. Cool the mouth & mind, then close the cycle through the nose.
Sit or stand tall. Soften the jaw. Bring the teeth to a light edge — not a clench. Tongue rests behind the teeth or at the ridge. Draw air in through the mouth with a thin hiss, like steam through a small gap. Four counts in. Do not gasp. Shoulders stay down.
One cycle, same length on every side:
Inhale mouth (Sitkari) — 4
Hold full — 4
Exhale nose — 4
Hold empty — 4
That is ~16 seconds. Lips close on the hold and on the nose exhale. No force on the empty hold.
Full set: 18 cycles = about 5 minutes. If 4-counts feel tight, use 3-3-3-3 and do 24 cycles. Same five minutes. Five minutes is the allotted cooling box so the effect holds.
Bariboshi: both sides, one mandatory minute before the opening washer. Four 4-count cycles (~1 minute), or five 3-count cycles. Then the pitch.
Stop if you get dizzy, tingly, or short of breath. This is a settling drill before a match, not medical treatment.
Light contact of the teeth, tongue behind them or at the ridge, air drawn in with a soft hiss. This is the cooling inhale. Do not gasp. Four counts in.
Keep this cycle the entire time: inhale through the mouth — 4, hold — 4, exhale through the nose — 4, hold empty — 4. That is one cycle (~16 seconds).
Do 18 cycles to land on 5 minutes. If a 4-count feels tight, use 3-3-3-3 and do 24 cycles. Same five minutes. Five minutes is the allotted time for a full Sitkari cooling box so the effect holds.
Before the opening Bariboshi, both sides take one mandatory minute of Sitkari cooling box. Same cycle: mouth in 4, hold 4, nose out 4, hold empty 4. Four cycles (~1 minute). If using 3-counts, five cycles. Then the pitch.
Sit upright. Stop if you get dizzy. This is a settling drill before a Bariboshi, not a medical treatment.
